Faces & Words with Feelings
This mini-lesson demonstrates how voice can be shown in both pictures and words. Using mentor text to demonstrate, Kristina shows kindergartners how to use facial expressions in their drawings to convey emotion. She also encourages them to use feeling words with their pictures. This mini-lesson was originally presented in a kindergarten classroom.
