Puff Up a Pre-Write Mini-Lesson Series
This mini-lesson series reminds students of pre-writing with a list and how that provides the ideas to include in a writing. Using the compression bag trigger and different lists of ideas in her Think Aloud, Kristina models how she might “puff” up those ideas in a first draft. This mini-lesson was originally presented in a 3rd-grade classroom.
