This mini-lesson demonstrates a strategy for self-editing. Kristina shows students the importance of lifting their papers when they self-edit. When they write, their papers are flat on their desks. But when it’s time to self-edit, they need to lift it up to give them a different perspective. This mini-lesson was originally presented in a 3rd-grade classroom.
